In 2016, Sean was named among 40 UNDER 40 in government, business, and community by New York City’s Home Reporter Newspaper. After the successful 2017 re-election campaign of Borough President Adams, Sean felt a tug of his faith to step away from his beloved work in the public sector to found the VSNWKS. PR Firm.
An independently owned full-service communications firm VSNWKS. PR Firm provides traditional and non-traditional digital media and marketing, press and public relations, crisis, and strategic planning for corporations, churches, small, minority and women-owned/led businesses. Sean is actively involved in various professional and industry organizations including but not limited to the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Black Marketers Association of America (BMAA), Henry and Fulton County Chamber of Commerce, and the National Association of Black PR Professionals (BPRSA).
In addition to professional involvement, Sean remains committed to giving back to the community through his nonprofit, the Urban Male Institute for Leadership and Success (UMILS), through his leadership, the organization develops men of color from diverse walks of life with on-the-job training, internship opportunities, and scholarships.
Dedicated to what he calls "the spirit of excellence." It is Sean's earnest belief that “if we are going to do anything worth doing, let it be the best thing we have ever done each and every time.” It is his life's purpose to educate, empower and propel people, helping them recognize that they matter, they can dream, they can believe, and they most certainly can become.
