VSNWKS Community Corporation Successfully Hosts Inaugural "A Seat at the Founders Table" in Atlanta, Celebrating Entrepreneurs of Impact and Excellence

Atlanta, GA — VSNWKS Community Corporation, in partnership with Sean James and with generous support from the Truist Foundation and Watson Institute, successfully hosted the inaugural "A Seat at the Founders Table" on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Atlanta Airport Marriott.

This exclusive, invite-only dinner gathered a curated group of black entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem leaders for a powerful evening of connection, conversation, and celebration. The Atlanta kickoff marks the first stop in a four-city national series dedicated to building high-impact relationships and advancing inclusive economic opportunity.

The event honored three extraordinary leaders whose work embodies resilience, innovation, and transformation:

  • Brandon K. Martin, Founder of Close Ties Leadership Program, for his tireless advocacy and mentorship of Black boys across Atlanta.

  • KaCey Vennings, Co-Founder of Helping Empower Youth (HEY), for her grassroots leadership and commitment to empowering youth to reclaim their futures.

  • Chef Kevin "Kev" McGee, Plant-Based Culinary Entrepreneur, for his visionary leadership in food innovation and addressing generational health disparities.

"Our goal was to create a table where founders aren’t competing for space — they’re building legacies together," said Sean James, Founder of VSNWKS and VSNWKS Community Corporation. " Atlanta showed up ready to connect, collaborate, and lead."

All invited founders attended, and the evening sparked new partnerships and initiatives that will continue to grow in the months ahead.

Following Atlanta’s success, A Seat at the Founders Table will continue with its next gathering scheduled for July 29, 2025, in New York City.
